This year marks the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I. Remembrance Day, November 11, is a Tuesday this year. It is, according to Veterans Affairs Canada, a day for remembrance of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict or peace.
